Why is everything free for ministers? Like electricity,water,petrol and toll tax etc Why are politicians served subsidized food at a negligible cost in the canteens of legislative assemblies and Parliament? Why are the assets of politicians not investigated? Why aren't the black petrol pipes—which petrol companies are using as a cover for illicit profiteering—made transparent? This would help prevent the theft of petrol and ensure that customers receive the full quantity. Every year, the budget is presented, and the government claims to have increased the wages of employees working in both the public and private sectors, asserting that the poor will now receive a greater return for their hard work. However, in reality, the "poor employees" in question are often government workers who receive hefty salaries despite doing little to no work; the actual remuneration of the truly poor—the laborers—never actually increases. For instance, suppose the stipulated wage is 22,000, but the worker receives only 14,000, with the contractors pocketing the remainder—yet, no action is ever taken against these contractors.
